I want to sincerely thank everyone that has been involved in my campaign, from those that knocked the doors and put up the posters to those 550 amazing people that deemed me worth a vote! Thank you so very much!

Just awoke to find we took 4.4% of the vote with 1731 total! As a political nobody standing for a new party I am delighted! So close to the 5% though! 😂 A huge thank you to every who campaigned and also to everyone who voted! Go raibh mile maith agat! Oiche mhaith!

Just grim. I can’t stop thinking about all those using food banks, the homeless, those in need of a functioning NHS. We just have to build a broad and inclusive movement to defend the people we came into politics for. That and to challenge the inevitable Tory onslaught.

Some major 5pm turnout increases in South Belfast compared to 2017. Box in Donegall Pass is 46% (up from 31%). Box in Lough Moss is 36% (up from 23%). Others I've seen are less dramatic, but the trend is definitely up on 2017. Rule of thumb: 5pm % will double by 10pm.

Things you could do in half an hour: 1. Make two meals from Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute meals 2. Run a 5km Park Run 3. Vote in the biggest election in a decade and secure your future for the best. Half an hour to go!

It took this person 13 minutes to vote. They timed it. I bet you can’t do it quicker - prove me wrong! Go out and vote! Just over two hours left folks!

Dog need walking? Why not walk them past your polling station while you are at it? Still plenty of voting hours left!

“My vote won’t make a difference”. What difference will it make if you don’t use it at all? 66,105 people registered to vote in SB in 2017. 22,406 didn’t vote. Imagine the difference those votes would’ve made! That’s more than any party received alone! Go Vote!

I don’t like Westminster elections because the underlying message is that a foreign nation has a say over our lives. That having been said, I am asking anyone who has voted for me in the past to lend their support to Aontú tomorrow by voting for Dr Anne Mc Closkey.
