    Highland- At 1230p a 3.7 acre brush fire in the wash area w/of the Iron Bridge in the East Highland area. Fire controlled thru the hard work of , resources will continue to mop up into the evening.

    All but 3 of the Top 20 Largest have occurred since 2000, with 3 of these large & damaging wildfires occurring just this year. As we enter fall, which is known to have the largest & most destructive wildfires, we want to remind you that now is the time to be prepared.

    CAL FIRE BDU, USFS and San Bernardino County Fire are responding to the Enchantment incident a wildfire reported in the area of Forest Dr x Lupin Ln in the Valley of Enchantment. First arriving engines reported 50’ x 50’ with slow rate of spread.

    update: The 50-acre fire is now 30% contained. All evacuation orders and road closures are lifted. Firefighters remain in the area and we ask that everyone slow down for their safety. 🙏

    CAL FIRE BDU at scene of a 15 acre wild fire near Yucca Terrace x Smith Rd in Phelan CA . The forward progress of the fire is stopped. The fire is 0% contained crews are working to construct control lines and mopping up.
