ATTN DRIVERS: Pending weather conditions, @Caltrans9 will open U.S. 395 from State Route 167 (Lee Vining) to Bridgeport today at 1:00 pm. The reopening may be delayed if winds pick up and cause whiteout conditions. Check quickmap.dot.ca.gov for the latest on road conditions.

There are sand and bags at all Yucaipa Fire Stations for Yucaipa and Oak Glen residents. The Yucaipa Fire Department has pre-filled approximately 4,000 sandbags at the Bryant and Wildwood Fire Stations (while they last for residential use). Thank you Yucaipa Fire Dept.

A strong system will bring heavy rainfall Wednesday - Thursday. Expect areas of urban flooding, and rising streams, creeks, and rivers. Stay alert if living near streams and creeks, follow evacuation orders, and be especially cautious driving at night.
