Ainsworth Dyer gained a reputation as a responsible and mature soldier with the @CanadianForces. At age 24, while serving in Afghanistan, Dyer was killed in a friendly fire incident. We remember him. #CanadaRemembers ow.ly/Xbjm50LxIXF

Private George Price was just doing his job. How could he have known they had reached the end? He would never know. He took a sniper's bullet and died at 10:58 a.m. Two minutes before the end. Remember Private Price.

#OTD in 1918, Private George Lawrence Price, of the 28th Battalion CEF, was killed by a sniper near Mons, Belgium a few minutes before the 11am armistice. He was 25 years old when he was killed. Price is buried in the St Symphorien Military Cemetery. #WeWillRememberThem
