At a forum on CT's child tax credit, Krystal Williams, a New Haven mom, says it made a big difference for her family. She spent a lot of the money she received buying supplies for her kids' school, which asked parents to send in supplies.

Kristina, from Oxford, shares that she/her husband both work and heavily rely on LIHEAP for oil to heat their home. Because of reduced benefits this year, they’re already through their benefit, and not sure how they will make it through the winter.
