I would absolutely agree with that.

Why blame one
@Jeremy_Hunt when we all have let#NHS and#Patients down and our staff down?@FMLM_UK@NHSEngland@CNagpaul@TheBMA@rcgp. Together we can#Transform and succeed. Success is when we all work together for a common purpose@JoeKiani@0X2020 -
Hunt has effectively prevented many (whistleblowers) from working in the NHS at all https://twitter.com/NHSwhistleblowr/status/926729085845430272 …
@sharmilaxx@TracyBoylin@SardariClare#RajMattu#KevinBeatt & many others.

One of my concerns about Mr Hunt &
#patientsafety is like so many there is great concern about avoidable deaths, but disabled patients & their families, whether child or adult seem to be overlooked. Discrimination faced in life continues after death. -
Sadly there is a lot if truth in this. At an early stage in my career it was quite blatant. Now more subtle & harder to address. It says something about our whole society.
-
@RCPCHtweets@rcpch_trainees Our College has huge responsibility to make sure this doesn't happen David. It is our failure as#Paediatrician if we let this happen. I worked for a#Paediatrician whi always told me 'caring for child with disability is the greatest honour. -
Every child is an individual. And needs to be treated as such. Each has her or his vulnerabilities. This is the art of paediatric practice which may be neglected.
-
Every human being is individual. In a fair society everyone matters and every voice counts. In sn unfair society some matter more than others
@TheBMA@FMLM_UK@JonRouseGM @LeadingGM@GM_HSC Success is when we all work together for a common purpose and our purposw is fellow human

I have a hand-written note from JH offering to take my case up personally. Still waiting. Good at lip-service. No credibility.

We met him. 30 mins I'll never get back. Pleasant and meaningless.
-
Had 30 minutes with him & Simon Stevens in 2014. Told
@sharmilaxx what a courageous woman she was then threw her under a bus.https://www.hsj.co.uk/patient-safety/an-open-letter-to-jeremy-hunt-from-a-whistleblower/7001361.article …

Law is updated over time- some old laws still exist but there is continual change over time. Which is just as well otherwise we would still have the Penal Laws in Ireland.
-
Sorry I don’t understand the point you are making.
-
What might seem to be a fair law to some is not fair at all. I used the Penal Laws as an extreme example. It may be decided in future that what works as law now does not work and it is amended.
-
PIDA 1998 is a good example. Well intentioned? Maybe. But it simply does not protect most people who make public interest disclosures. Like
@wussydoc -
They keep changing case law used to link dismissal to whistleblowing. Most ETs in favour of employers, case law same. So few "win" detriment/automatic unfair dismissal. And ordinary unfair dismissal is not a win if you lose all your money and career.
-
I really hope that, somehow, you have some success ...... so sorry to hear what has happened to you.
