Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Presumed consent for organ use consultation here. Looks like a consultation on how, not whether, opt-out will be introdduced https://engage.dh.gov.uk/organdonation

Will a SoS who is on record as reluctant to take responsibility for informing NHS about other end of life issues (DNACPR) ensure there is adequate information out there to inform people of the opt-out?

Given that the object of "opt-out" is an increase in organs for transplantation, it would be odd for the govt to go to great lengths to inform people of their right to opt out.

The gift of organ donation is a personal choice, not a government directive. If family consent for opt-out system is also removed, (the wording on the consultation is a bit iffy) would families even be told?

Surely even consent by acquiescence requires that the person at least be given the opportunity to acquiesce?

The system appears to rely heavily on online opt in/out but considering we haven’t even got a system for countrywide access to our own records yet how robust is that?

It seems like an serious error waiting to happen imho, given NHS's track record on IT matters. And let's hope they're not using some fake opt-out trick on this one too, as they tried with #caredata.
