@C7RKY John, just sent you a DM (telling you in case it isn't flagged up) and I'll send you an e-mail later today - read your e-mail chain yesterday (you were right - not too difficult to get the thrust of it).
There's more to share on the subject first Mike, (believe it or not). But only too happy to discuss it openly after that. Also, I've only recently come to appreciate the significance of the Royal Colleges. Still trying to work out how they might be helpful to me.

1/2 RCS England published new guidance about consent recently (about a year ago). It gives you a 'way in' to ask the RCS about consent forms, I think: I've an idea a URL to the guidance is in one of the BMJ pieces I included links to in my DM. See https://www.rcseng.ac.uk/standards-and-research/standards-and-guidance/good-practice-guides/consent/ … and

2/2 the guidance can be downloaded from the first of the links on that page (via an obvious download link on the page that takes you to).pic.twitter.com/QFZwyM5btv

Thank you. Yes, I got sent these by somebody recently. Only added to my newfound curiosity with the Royal Colleges. My eye had been turned in this direction, because it's the review NHSE & CQC jointly called for after our discussions. >https://www.gmc-uk.org/guidance/news_consultation/30001.asp …

I do believe it - the e-mails you sent to me contained a clear 'thrust' but very little detail (no actual forms to look at - so reading the e-mails left plenty of 'gap filling' to be done).

I think what you're lacking is attachments. I've changed PC again recently, so will have to reassemble my collection on this machine and get the significant ones to you.
