...to truly know what the system contribution was, and therefore what the individual culpability is, requires a very thorough judicial exploration of the system & at the very least an independent one. Anything less allows the corporation & hierarchy to scapegoat the individual...

We don’t know what the mystery ‘2 systems issues’ were that the judge deemed inadmissible because of their irrelevance. We don’t know what other systems issues WERE raised in court.

We don’t even know the full details of her errors. 21 or otherwise. And we certainly don’t know enough at this stage to assert that the law needs changing, imho. END Over to you... :)

On a tangent, interesting how many medics on twitter ignore this guidance on anonymity:-pic.twitter.com/LqkfrUETjO
-
Yes. It’s logical guidance. At the same time, following it (as I do) means a gag about your personal life and some of your opinions. Or have an extra profile in which you never, ever mention anything about your job role, and also try not to RT too much medical /NHS stuff.
-
many have a second profile for this reason. I personally don't, so my non-medical tweets tend to be fewer than they might. My identity is very open, to comply with this advice
-
Yes you clearly do but many seem not to. Lots of tweeter accounts from people talking about their work as a medic and even calling themselves Dr, but using what seem to be made up names.
-
I fully appreciate that, seen first hand how vicious certain elements of the NHS can be if anyone puts their head about the parapet.
