When we first heard that there was to be no trial, and an internal investigation, we felt awful for the Adcocks- while hoping that the investigation would find the systemic flaws and improve things. Then comes the criminal case.

Criminal cases are what happen when every other avenue has failed to yield the truth for families, imho. I too am on that list of people trying to prosecute. I'll be honest; until somebody grasps the nettle and properly addresses the lies & cover ups, I expect we'll see more.

That is where we all struggle. For the public, a secret society with secret rituals took Jack into their care and he died, when he shouldn’t have. For healthcare, a young boy presented with a life threatening infection with a high mortality and died.

Bear in mind it's only secret if you refuse to tell us! Maybe there's a reason a 2nd recommendation for a statutory duty of candour has now been put forward since Francis? It's clearly part of the problem. Families just want honesty to be part of wherever this is going next.
