I've discharged myself from Social services and am discharging myself from my GP next week I'm fed up with the lies PLUS I strongly suspect my local hospital is faking results BUT who will my medical records belong to?

@C7RKY might know. There was controversy over data selling but can't remember who it was.1 reply 1 retweet 2 likes -

Ownership of medical records is a funny one. The physical file belongs to the SOS for Health, but the data they contain belongs to us, legally. It is possible to prevent them holding records on you, I gather, but it's complex. I only know of 1 person who's done it.

If you can share any details of how it was done please do I suspect it would involve signing away my right to NHS treatment which would include MH services and they wouldn't legally be able to place me on a EoLP in years to come I can't get physical health care anyway +MHA gone

Damn, the 1 person I knew who would understand the process has left twitter. Took me a long time to find this, so just in case she comes back, her name was Helen and this was her Twitter name - @helliewm I'm afraid I don't know how else to contact her. She still accessed NHS care

For refusing the NHS the right to hold any medical records about you Andy. It's possible, but a highly complex process to achieve it, as well as coming with significant implications. You have to have a really good reason to want to do it.
