For me to comment? One thing I'll say is; when I made a comparison between healthcare & aviation, I had to spend 2 days fending off responses from clinicians annoyed that I dared make such a comparison. Wonder if those same commentators will be silent now?https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/947889159221448705 …

John Clarke @C7RKYAmazing to note the difference in safety records between healthcare, where doctors don't die alongside their patients; https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/941246786315964416 … ..and aviation, where pilots may well die alongside their passengers. https://twitter.com/jbarro/status/947868718020939776 …1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Yes - it’s a flawed argument. The flight can be cancelled. Hospital work cannot. However that’s not what this piece is really about. It’s about scapegoating rather than the hospital accepting liability.

The rest of the piece is challenging to analyse. It's a mixture of obv sensible safety measures being raised, mixed in with apologist hero-doctor nonsense and seemingly, error, in respect of the reflections evidence. Charlie Massey's blog says the defence brought that into court.
