Niggling thought of the day:
Why are doctors saying that this week GMC made patients less safe?
Why were patients still safe when #BawaGarba got convicted of gross negligent manslaughter, but we're not now she's been struck off?
Does loss of career hold more fear than conviction?

When I couldn’t walk at all, I considered wheelchair road events as a future possibility. Frances Brown is an incomplete tetraplegic climber for instance. But with lesser-impairment impacting walking, gait; it’s actually harder to access medical help, mobility, quality of life.

Too fast move to wheels and sticks - structural thinking, no where near enough functional thinking and help

Plus my mobility is especially poor currently; I’d set my hopes on getting at least to the start, maybe round
#CambridgeHalf - it’s not entirely impossible, but I’ve not been decently-mobile 3 weeks. It’s a big deal; I used to run half marathons pre-DVT, pelvic tumour (2012-13).Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I’m kind of like the ‘walking dead’ at this point. I can’t get my mobility back, ditto fertility. In spite of having a post graduate degree, employment prospects are limited. My medical care is mostly-abysmal. Positives are my husband, and maybe hope for a better future career.
