Medical kidnapping i think is the term they use, allegedly many elderly are taken by ambulance to Hospital with the elderly persons begging not to go, and the paramedics say " We have to under the duty of care." Then allegedly many never see daylight again through forced EOLC.

That's an unusual leaflet. Can't say I've seen one quite like that before. Impressive on the surface, but still vulnerable because the duty of candour we have is a fudge of what Francis called for. Doesn't solve the problem as intended.
-
I think the 'guardian' scheme, as it has been developed/implemented, isn't what a neutral who had read Francis would have come up with: we still have [much] work to do on the 'open and honest' issue.

Seems to happen a lot? Even well intended inquiry recommendations end up so manipulated as to be unfit for original purpose by the time they emerge into reality.
-
Francis clearly knew what the government would try to do - his recommendations are deeply-intertwined, presumably in the hope that 'cherry picking' would be harder to do. He also - from what I've heard him saying after his report - thinks they have been 'cherry picking'!
-
He thinks right. Well... he's Robert Francis... he knows.

I do like Francis - he is an excellent analyst, in my opinion.

Investigate into investigations of all the investigations.. that's what it's all about

It's far too common that reputation is protected above all else. And it has to stop. It's victimising the victims for the sake of self preservation. There's no angle from which the current situation looks good.
