Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Fiona French added,
And without informed consent, the patient who is seriously or irreversibly harmed can and should take legal action.
A depressed or anxious teenager hasn't git a chance ... let alone a depressed or anxious adult. It is all about deception.
Public needs to know Montgomery casehttp://www.bmj.com/content/357/bmj.j2224 …

“..a radical move away from English law’s traditional respect for clinical expertise.” Respect, or deference? My money would be on the latter. Which likely explains why some judges are already behaving as if Montgomery just never happened...https://twitter.com/C7RKY/status/938175044177596421 …
John Clarke added,
Thanks, John. I am not informed about this subject at all ... but very concerned about the lack of informed consent in relation to psychiatric drugs

It's a big subject that one, Fiona. And imho, one you're right to be v concerned about. My personal interest started with the subject of consent and the law surrounding it. > https://twitter.com/C7RKY/status/601118759995187201 … Informed consent is a different thing again & Montgomery was a welcome shift. >>
John Clarke added,
>>But then re psychiatric drugs, if you look into 'medical science' and in particular pharmaceuticals, you will likely conclude, as I have, that there's not much in the way of science involved. True science doesn't permit hiding 50% of the evidence. >http://www.alltrials.net/find-out-more/why-this-matters/ …
Yes, John, I would agree with that. Totally. We are entirely deceived and most people don't even know it.
We trust, because we ought to be able to. Just like clinicians trust the study conclusions that are presented to them... because they ought to be able to. But that trust only lasts until you have cause to go looking. Crumbles pretty quickly after that, I find.
Yes, that is right .. most of us only go looking when things go wrong for us.
