Exactly. Also, desire to 'prove' our own cases can be strong once you've grasped it. Esp if faced with denial & cover up. Makes you think that way by necessity then. But moving from there to finding solutions that will stick is critical, for that knowledge to make a difference.

We do - unfortunately - tend to fall prey to 'going into the detail of what happened to us' at times: almost invariably, even with a lot of 'good will', it simply isn't possible for people to understand 'the detail'. You also tend to 'attract sympathy' - not what we want!
