I'd say the Cochrane reviews pose far more questions than that blog answers. Maybe people ought to read those too? For children's flu vaccines here > http://www.cochrane.org/CD004879/ARI_vaccines-preventing-influenza-healthy-children … And for adult flu vaccines here >http://www.cochrane.org/CD001269/ARI_vaccines-to-prevent-influenza-in-healthy-adults …

My pleasure Marisa. Glad you found it useful. It's just a shame you're the only one who seems to have noticed it?! Unlike all the positive marketing materials, no doubt...

#flu vaccine uptake over the past few years shows a steady decrease. My theory is that the public have no confidence in it. The results of these studies justify that view.2 replies 1 retweet 1 like -
Well if you can't believe
#cochranereviews who can you believe?! They are meant to be the gold standard in systematic research. I struggle with this....we need honest answers and a real solution from the gov't.1 reply 1 retweet 0 likes
Good luck getting honest answers. This is likely well known among those who matter. If not front line staff - most of whom seem too busy to properly study the raw trials data these days. Medical science is largely an oxymoron, imho. Pharmaceutical trials esp so. It's a mess!
