2/n ask my clinicians 'what can you offer to enable me to die more comfortably?', and CRUCIALLY I CONSENT TO what happens next, which will (of course!) probably involve many interventions which were described in the LCP. For you, would I 'still be on the LCP'?

If I'm dying in agony, and only deep continuous sedation can remove my agony, and I say 'deeply sedate me until I die' do you think that is 'euthanasia' or not?

1/n Not if you were informed of the risks, and you consented. If the drug promptly killed you, and it was known before administration that it would, that would amount to assisted suicide. If the situation is 'if we do it, you might die sooner' and you say 'fine - do it' then that
