Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Flu on the rise. Massive variation in staff vaccination rates between hospitals. 30% of flu transmitted by people without symptoms. Vaccine still best protection for NHS staff and patients. http://bit.ly/2CnvcBj https://twitter.com/phe_uk/status/948977491884105728 …

Why isn’t it mandatory Bruce? It’s a safety issue surely

I think a serious debate around mandatory flu vaccination is inevitable before next winter.

The efficacy of mass flu vaccination is found by Cochrane review (Cochrane - not a set of hippy weirdos) to be unproven. So why do the nhs fund this when there are so many alternative proven ways they could spend this money? Jobs for the boy. Someone’s making millions off this.

Do you have a link to the review handy? I'm a biochemistry student and I was hoping to give it a read to see exactly what mechanism is preventing the efficacy of vaccination for these particular strains of influenza.

Cochrane were a little more 'pointed' re the children's flu vaccine studies. > "The review showed that reliable evidence on influenza vaccines is thin but there is evidence of widespread manipulation of conclusions and spurious notoriety of the studies."http://www.cochrane.org/CD004879/ARI_vaccines-preventing-influenza-healthy-children …
