Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

David, can you say hand on heart that Dr's don't know of colleagues whose practice is poor yet do nothing about it? Of course some investigations will rightly side with clinicians but don't pretend that all investigations are candid!

So blooming tedious regularly deleting tweets after being provocative... Maybe a bit more thought in advance @mancunianmedic?

It really is. Here's yet another example https://twitter.com/DrMurphy11/status/949791672367505408 … Can't see what he said before this tweet, but here's his reply (Both now deleted?) A little more reflection before tweeting wouldn't be out of place.pic.twitter.com/VlVAiGyf4i

This is the reason I didn't trust the complaints procedure 2010.I was right not to.

Seems most would be right not to trust, with the benefit of hindsight. But few people know that at the time, even if instinct is screaming in your ear. When we are vulnerable, we sometimes have little choice but to trust.

Agree. We were vulnerable but unclear about process, its very long and drawn out for most/ very unfair. Very clear now . With the benefit of hindsight we would make very different choices .

Oh me too. If I'd known then what I know now, none of it would've happened. Or at least several people would've been convicted for it if it had.

I firmly believe trusts take full advantage of the fact that pts/families are reeling with emotion and can barely function. This is the time when most of the cover up activity seems to go on - before we even know we should be looking, or are in any fit state to be doing so.

Eh? They wouldn't even let your family or your MP see the report? How did they justify that??

I wasn't next of kin, but was main point of contact, after insisting, I was given a copy . The report was going to be used for learning lessons .

Ok, so you managed to get it eventually. That's something, I suppose. Hard to learn lessons if nobody's allowed to read it though!

John , our family buried two members of our family in 2010, the report was used for learning I understand by trust. Many bereaved families have different views and take different actions , or none, all should be respected and all choices are valid.
