Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Thanks @neilgchurchill Good work progressing on @leder_team programme but more to do. I’ll need to seek out a more recent update re mental health workstream as I’m not directly working on that element.

Thanks, but the Leder work was ongoing. What specific work has been done in relation to recommendation 4 of the report?

Any further update? 'Good (ongoing and underfunded) work but more to do' seems to be woefully inadequate in the circumstances. Cheers.

Wayne, I have read the reply. I have also read all the emails you've sent. Change doesn't happen by bombarding people but we need to work together objectively to influence and listen to all sides

Lots of people are listening Wayne but your email bombardment isn't helpful. We all need to listen to all sides and progress from there

If I recall, you were also asked to host a meeting for Tim Kelsey re Caredata too, Olivia? Seems you're asked to handle a lot of meetings aimed at NHS patients who've been lied to. Do you and your team get any kind of specialist training to deal with the inevitable disquiet?

Everyone in the team has their own personal development plan. We learn together, share skills, evaluate the work we do, the feedback we get and the outcomes achieved. My professional background is in community development.

So which of those activities would you say best equips your team to handle pts/relatives who are often traumatised, angry and keen to draw attention to specific information about their own experiences which led to those feelings? Especially given the added fuel of cover-ups.

Being human. Being compassionate. Being skilled in bringing different perspectives together. Amplifying people's experiences within. We also work with partners to bring in specialist counselling and support as appropriate to the work we're involved in.
