Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

my now exMP would only address a very small part of the complaint, also totally unable to get any of his letters sent to the right people - he was a total liability.https://twitter.com/C7RKY/status/949308973458624512 …

Told me same. Over & over. And when I proved them wrong, I had a memorable one on one meeting with a CH Insp who told me "If you want the police to investigate this, you're going to have to get the IPCC to *make* us do it." He was wrong about that too. An MP & QC did the trick.

Sorry to hear that Helga. Getting the support of a good MP seems to be a bit of a postcode lottery from what I've heard over the years. I was v fortunate to get excellent support from @DerbyChrisW. He doesn't know it yet, but I'll be knocking on his door again soon too. :)

My now ex-MP told us to sue. The previous one was happy to be put off by DGH when we begged for help when kid was in.

Sue how? Clinical negligence case? Not sure how people think that will help sometimes. Unless they just assume we're all ambulance chasers? Doesn't help others when cases are settled out of court in order to avoid scrutiny of evidence.

It is extremely difficult to sue unless it is for a newborn. Solicitors don't want high cost x low value cases.

Ours went ahead as Legal Aid still existed then. It was our last chance of scrutiny + justice. If now no options if no £

The State doesn't want to scrutinise itself. It isn't politically of financially sensible, so MP was pacifying nil more
