Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Same for GMC. They should be actively identifying the drs that crop up regularly in med neg cases, but they don't.

Is there anyway of finding out who has been investigated by GMC. I know one of the doctors we reported has previously been investigated but wasn’t sure if it was public

I'd be interested to know that too. Only info I found on my person of interest came from previous newspaper coverage.

I met with GMC a couple of weeks ago and they said that they hold details of all investigations and that all previous and present employers made aware of any investigation but only thing on public record is any serious blemishes

Even if the answer to that is yes, it still doesn't exactly measure up to Jeremy Hunt's persistent claims that UK healthcare is the most transparent in the world, does it?

GMC will use privacy as an excuse, but consequences can be great. This person is a court expert.

Wow. So how do we know that anything we're told by GMC is true & complete, knowing that?

Somehow drs with serious concerns about them can move jobs. How can that happen?

I don't know, but funny you should say that - I tracked my chap to a new trust just last week. It clearly wasn't a problem for him to move, despite appearing in the national press with criminal allegations next to his name.
