Wow. "Meet the man with almost perfect memory" "Having HSAM doesn’t just involve having an uncanny ability to remember minute details. It also means that when something bad happens in your life, it’s harder to let go of those lingering negative feelings."http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/perfect-memory-man-never-forget-joey-degrandis-james-mcgaugh-hsam-a8105016.html?amp&__twitter_impression=true …

I do understand the mixed blessing of this
-
You more than most Paula, I'm certain. Probably be more curse than blessing for someone in your position. x
-
I have to be a witness at the inquest for Oliver so remembering every detail is important Not that I can ever forget the horrors of what they did to Oliver and his suffering before he died
-
Quite. Such things don't tend to fade in a hurry. And don't generally start fading at all until a sense of justice is felt. Which is probably why it lingers on for so many.
-
Just so unfair Paula. I hope you get justice and peace.
-
Thank you Phyllis I hope Oliver’s voice gets heard but most of all lessons are learned and no other person loses their life due to ignorance of understanding autism

I have a terrible memory except for trivia and sadly everything that staff said during kid's 17 + mth hospital stay
-
Amazing, isn't it? What the mind is capable of. Captures every detail when it senses a need to be on high alert. For whatever reason that may be...
-
Oddly it isn't common among drs who fail patients.
-
Well... just because it doesn't come back out, doesn't mean it didn't go in.

-
Only 1 has done a statement for court, so definitely no sign of it coming out a d even he has a very odd memory.
