Haven't you given up looking yet?
-
I think it may be a condition? Almost akin to witnessing a car accident happening - horrible to watch, but just don't seem to be able to look away...
-
I know exactly what you mean but I have had to stop watching most 'politics & current affairs' programmes because of their blatant bias &/or censorship by omission.
-
I'm right with you. I only watch such things now to find out what the latest line is they'd like me to swallow tbh. But so blatantly ignoring this particular story is a grim example, even by their normal deplorable standards.

Thank you. Interesting though that I still can't locate that article anywhere on the BBC news mobile app - even now.
-
There's a search facility on the app. If you type in 'haughey' the article will pop up.
-
An excellent plan. With just 2 small flaws: 1. You have to know the story exists to search for it. 2. You have to know the story exists to search for it.

Not sure how we csn ensure that you're immediately aware of every news story. Science hasn't yet got that far. In the meantime you could read the news or change the settings in your newsfeed.

Isn't that MI6's business?
-
No. For 'historical reasons', all of Ireland is under MI5's remit.
-
Is that for real? That would seem to send a rather insensitive, blunt message if true.
-
Do you really think the British Empire cared much about how it was perceived by the peoples of subject nations?
-
Guess not. But I do think such attitudes serve to highlight the stark difference between the British Empire and the British people.

Britain's main TV news channels are really just the same as each other.
-
Narrative wouldn't hold up if they weren't, I suppose. Social media's proving to be a real thorn though. Hence its demonisation at every opportunity.
-
British Gov doesn't like us having more news channels choice these days.
-
No, they really don't, do they? And whoever let the plebs have a fully functioning networking tool in Twitter must be getting spanking behind the scenes somewhere. It's not all cat videos & selfies.
-
I dont agree with censorship on social media. I dont just want to see people with the same main stream views on here.
