That pathologist has written Oliver was 6ft 4inc, he was actually 5ft 11inc. It doesn’t instill confidence does it

With our son only one doctor wrote notes on the night. It was the junior/SHO and her notes matched our recollection - bless her. The other doctors didn't and were able to "make up" what happened with zero consequences.... so far.

There is an unwritten rule that applies there. If it wasn't written it didn't happen. Documented & recorded facts should always take precedence.

Yes but families don't typically (and shouldn't have to) keep contemporaneous notes/records and some recorded 'facts' aren't factual.

I advise anyone who'll listen to record every medical consultation now. Helps to revisit oft difficult to remember conversations, it's our legal right & also the only way to ensure accurate notes are recorded... as it turns out.https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/683662528224845825 …

Ha! Nice meme. Covert if you prefer, but good news is you don't have to be. MDU wrote that piece in response to so many docs complaining about patients recording them. It confirms they can't stop us. I'm open about recording, personally.

Outrageous that you felt coerced into giving up what you even knew at the time was your legal right. And as for attempts to interfere in your note taking thereafter - I can tell you now that such tales make my blood boil.
