#Francis called for a statutory individual duty of candour for doctors. This would make it unlawful to lie to a patient or their family
We didn't get it.
Instead, we were given a fudged organisational duty of candour. Here's how well that's going. >https://twitter.com/Allyncondon/status/937818531642642432 …
Trust scared to challenge docs? That's not something I've personally encountered. Everyone telling lies, I have. Thought it was a rogue surgeon at first. Then a rogue trust. Then a regulator or 3, then police... ...it's a shitty learning curve! Sorry you find yourself on it. :(

We were refused the right to see the investigation into why Margrid Schindler wanted to delete the recording. The artist said Schindler refused and that they were not allowed to ask her again as it may be viewed as harassment. Investigation done under MHPS so they could refuse

Oh... *that* kind of scared to challenge docs? I get it now. That's just a convenient line they're using in order to create one of no doubt many dead-ends they're throwing your way. Stops you accessing evidence. They'll not really be concerned by harassment issues at all, imho.

Indeed they are. Covering up is the one specialty they're all good at. This road is always rocky, & always longer than you think. Hard to tell a sprinter to pace themselves, but it all too often becomes a battle of resilience. Your recordings may be the difference. Good luck!

Thanks John we will see how the main bodies respond to the recordings as if they are ignored then there is something wrong
