And Sign the Petition! It could be you next time, convicted of manslaughter for working in defective NHS Structure and Process (which inevitably results in defective outcomes)https://www.gopetition.com/petitions/letter-to-the-media-re-gmc-and-dr-hadiza-bawa-garba.html …

The CPS has inappropriately prosecuted doctors for gross negligence manslaughter but fail to prosecute cases like Robbie's where there is also irrefutable evidence of criminality. Most docors support the doctors who killed Robbie when it's an open & shut case of manslaughter. :(pic.twitter.com/g1knG7pt2Z

It's bizarre, isn't it? No rhyme or reason. Blatantly necessary prosecutions get de-railed, whilst others with several mitigating factors are pursued. I'm confused.

In many of the ones which have been de-railed (and there are 3 in this thread alone), definitely corruption, yes. Still a bit confused as to why they suddenly pushed ahead in this one headline case now though. What's so different about that case??

Im not sure they..the GMC... have read all the paperwork but I dont know that for a fact...& there is a consultation on regulators at the moment so you know 'lets look tough'

Oh, no. This cant be just a timing thing, surely? GMC picking on the nearest convenient target to make a point, before somebody makes one to them? I feel slightly queasy even considering the thought...

Minority doctors (and international grads in particular) seem most at risk. Which is interesting.

Especially females
