My dad wore one. He never took his off, but I take your point. Guess we're moving towards an option I'm not fond of here - microchipping. Mini-medical record on a scannable chip? Instant DNACPR confirmation in a 'bleep'?

Maybe bracelets are the best bet, taking personal responsibility isn’t really my issue. It’s how easily it can be ‘removed’ either in an accident or in case of medical error (in the ‘amending the records’ way) I can see microchips being the thing in the future

I do think implanted microchips come with a whole raft of concerns, some of which extend WAY beyond just medical discussion. But it's hard to see a long term alternative. Bracelets are our best bet to avoid them though, I'd say.
