Nobody prescribes a pack of 32 paracetamol on NHS script. The only ones I’ve seen have been for 100 pack size multiples for people with a long term condition that need regular analgesia. ‘Why should they have to buy it if people on other analgesics don’t have to?’ is my question.

See that's what I miss about twitter - I would never have thought to ask that question. Thanks Cathy! I just thought someone was bigging up their cuts when in reality, lion's share of that £34 is prob GP and will still be incurred regardless of sending pt away without script.
