        >>Truly unbelievable! Unqualified NHS staff allowed to check thousands of x-rays, for over a DECADE, with fears that the practice may be widespread prompting an urgent all-hospital search... & it takes a member of the public to tell @CareQualityComm before they notice? What?!?

Interesting. So this was far from new news?CQC should have been actively looking for this then, not waiting for the suffering public to inform them. It'd be like them claiming Christmas came as a surprise!

Quite. CQC et al's failures to properly track & learn from coroners' warning reports is a serious risk to patient safety. Pleasure - well deserved. I can so relate to the 'not enough hands' thought too. I could always see more wrongs than I had time to properly challenge.

Seems like you've positioned yourselves on the right side of this debate to me - well done. Although I do feel it's also worth drawing attention to these points, when discussing early diagnosis & survival rates. >https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/931462246382886912 …

I suspect that so-called 'all clear' may be worthy of a second look. Think I'd be demanding the radiologist's report immediately Anne - avoid offering them any chance to belatedly 'create' one if it wasn't done.
