Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

What percentage of UK onion crops would be lost without #pesticides? What do you think this could imply? #WithOrWithout

Please stop promoting this stupid poll. You're destroying the planet. Do you not feel bad arguing that organic food is bad?

Organic is using pesticides just the same, so it's a question to be asked for conventional as well as organic farming.

Excuse me? Surely the use of pesticides would disqualify a product from being certified organic?

There are a lot of pesticides authorised to be used in organic farming. You can find some more information herehttps://blogs.scientificamerican.com/science-sushi/httpblogsscientificamericancomscience-sushi20110718mythbusting-101-organic-farming-conventional-agriculture/ …

Wow. That's an unpleasant thought. I feel the need to find source data. Does this look like I'm starting to fish in the right place?pic.twitter.com/Sn8V2wXGbB

I am no legal expert myself, but it looks about right. The commission is indeed responsible for authorising pesticides to be used in organic farming. This just shows that pesticides are needed in agriculture in general to protect crops from pests to produce food.

I'm not sure if I'll end up agreeing with your final assertion there or not - more research time required for me. V grateful for the heads up to do so though. Thank you.
