Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

John Clarke added,
Dr. Welch’s work is indeed interesting. As a professional “diagnoser”the term overdiagnosis is unsettling. The diagnosis is an observation to which we chose to act or not. Making the right choice requires relationship with our patients - which has been eroding for many years
I agree with every word of that. As a layman who has had cause to lose trust myself, I've been troubled by what passes for a 'scientific' approach in medicine when I've gone looking. Plenty of grey...
Thx. 2 me, Medicine/healthcare is a relationship 1st, supported by broader knowledge. “Evidence” & population based medicine remove the vital reliance of the narrative of each patient right in front of you. Is how we provide healthcare helping actual people be/become well?
Not on current population-based experience, no. 'Evidence' can trouble me too. Eg. conclusions drawn from a selective 50% of pharma studies published are at best, incomplete. Misleading at worst, imho
