@C7RKY In a society as scared, selfish and stupid as the US, cops are seen as protectors of personal privilege and so can do no wrong.. -

@paulrogers002 I guess so. Unconscious bias can be more damaging that it appears to be at first glance, when permitted in the wrong arena. -
@C7RKY In a society with no meaningful welfare system, prison is no deterrent to crime - you don't starve there. So police become brutal.
