@C7RKY So where did the money go ? Follow the trail. -
@excopperas Assuming we're allowed to look, given the 'independence' granted to Foundation Trusts? But yes... follow that cash!

@C7RKY@katemasters67 @excopperas Reads to me as "they underbid and ended up spending more (on patient care) than they were paid". -
@jim_crawfurd@katemasters67 @excopperas Meaning it's not profitable - the sole purpose of a trading company. Predictable outcome, I suspect -
@C7RKY@katemasters67 @excopperas Exactly. It isn't possible to make money out of providing decent healthcare at government "prices". -
@jim_crawfurd@katemasters67 @excopperas Quite. Makes one wonder how either party could enter into such a good contract in good faith. -
@C7RKY@katemasters67 @excopperas I guess CCG knew they would get quality and hoped trust could pull it off financially. -
@jim_crawfurd@C7RKY @excopperas how did they know they would get quality? CQC rated addenbrookes inadequate.. What were CCG looking at? -
@katemasters67@C7RKY @excopperas I've seen CQC report. I've also seen Dr Foster rating. Am not convinced CQC rating was fair. -
@jim_crawfurd@C7RKY @excopperas CQC inspection just broke the surface. Addenbrooke's hospital are very good at spin. - 2 more replies
