Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

@ShaunLintern Further watering down the already well-diluted duty of candour response. I for one am unimpressed at this avoidance of honesty

@C7RKY According to proposals for consultation its about bringing private providers and GPs etc up to the level of NHS bodies.

@ShaunLintern Appreciated, but it's just 1 small blind spot, imho. I still believe the lack of statutory ind DoC has made this solution lame

@C7RKY This is a statutory duty. Individuals are required to act when incidents that could have caused harm occur

@ShaunLintern But only org stat DoC. It's in org's interests to ensure HCP's (who have no such duty) hide truth. They can just repeat then >

@C7RKY If you look at legislation it requires individuals to act when incidents occur. Org faces a criminal offence and fine if they dont

@ShaunLintern Legislation requires individuals to act? And act honestly? If honesty only in guidelines, this happens>pic.twitter.com/2LEzE5DPCl

@C7RKY I dont know what that quote is from but it doesnt accurately reflect the legislation which requires patients/familes to be told.

@ShaunLintern That was a quote from @PeterWalshAvMA. Relates to JR, I believe, but it highlights a point which has wider implications, imho.
