@Trisha_the_doc that last para isn't my own experience at all
@Trisha_the_doc Sounds very good. Sort of thing my mum would probably appreciate too. Does it extend to EOL care?

@C7RKY Yes & no. We work in tandem with existing services, so if looks like eolc we get GP & District Nurses back in +/- palliative care. -
@Trisha_the_doc Ok, fair enough. Like the sound of it anyway. My mum's extremely agoraphobic, so every journey's an endurance test for her. -
@C7RKY Yes, we can arrange every test the hospital can, but many patients say "thanks doc, I'd rather not!"... -
@Trisha_the_doc Really? Do they offer any clue as to why not? I'd have thought a sizeable chunk would've taken you up on the offer, tbh. -
@C7RKY Dislike of transport, scared of hospitals, acknowledgement that tests won't necessarily change treatment plan. -
@Trisha_the_doc Oh.. sorry. Think I misunderstood? I thought you meant they were refusing the home hospital service. Just tests you mean? -
@C7RKY Yup. They LOVE the being at home bit! -
@Trisha_the_doc Right..gotcha. That makes more sense! :)
