Cant help feeling uncomfortable about the lay off of Ofsted inspectors. Is this because a bad inspection now is so much more of a threat?

I watched the pressures on the CQC at the time when the staff recognised that they actually had no way of anticipating the next scandal.

@mulberrybush If I had to speculate, I'd say the discomfort was more at the realisation that there was no way to hide what I was raising.
