@Harryshelper Quite. And that's assuming you ever get there. Many no win/no fee cases get 'agreed' between lawyers at behest of underwriters
@C7RKY mine has to be above a certain amount before lawyers agree it now as hospital dragged it out so long & made so much trouble.
@Harryshelper They do like to make sure they secure their profits, don't they? *sigh*
@C7RKY I hope they do. Only way hospital might notice there's a cost to what they're doing (tho not much financial for victims)
@Harryshelper I'm not sure hospital will have to pay? At least, not until their insurance premiums come up for renewal. NHSLA does, I think?
@C7RKY true. But part of what we are after is public apology by hospital.
@Harryshelper Fair enough. Just look out for the 'We're sorry YOU feel that way...' crap.
@C7RKY had that. Actually more 'we are sorry you feel you were harmed by the infection YOU got'
@Harryshelper Even better. :-/
Staying classy, eh?
@C7RKY and all we ever wanted was an apology and procedures to be reviewed so same thing didn't happen again.
@Harryshelper @C7RKY is that asking too much?
@157Tracey @C7RKY seems to be. In lots of cases :-/
@Harryshelper @C7RKY All we wanted was our son to be given a chance to live but hosp blame known risks of his condition on alcohol
@Harryshelper @C7RKY he had vomiting since birth, seizures for 7 years, hypotension over 4 years. They blamed alchohol for last year of life
@157Tracey @C7RKY :-( so sorry you've all been through that xx. There aren't the words to describe how cruel doctors/NHS can be.
