@C7RKY @DebraOliveri2 I think they do protest too much. Happy the boy is doing well.

@POCX100@DebraOliveri2 You mean you think the parents protest too much Paul? Why, if so? -
@C7RKY@DebraOliveri2 Because to say they live in fear of the UK authorities is taking the victim card to the enth degree. -
@POCX100@DebraOliveri2 I can understand why you might think so. I'd have felt the same a few years ago. But not now. I sympathise with them -
@C7RKY How sad if true. I know family courts and SS etc can make odd decisions, but given the publicity I doubt they would in this case. -
@POCX100 It's reliance on (medical) expert witnesses that becomes the weakness. Our medical world isn't as ethical as it would like to think -
@C7RKY An interesting view & I'm not being contradictory, as is the way with the media, the story doesn't say that, it's uninformative. -
@POCX100 The story's a mere soundbite. As is often the way with such things, But I know many found parallels with the Kings' story. Sadly. - 3 more replies

@C7RKY No doubt they can be imprisoned for contempt of court, as Family Court proceedings started. -
@PhyllisStein2 I'm sure they'd dream something up to get their own back, but there was no protection order when they left, so no crime. :) -
@C7RKY Leaving was fine, but the case proceeded through family court regardless and Ashys became ward of court, so family legally gagged -
@PhyllisStein2 Oh...I thought that had been withdrawn after CPS reviewed the case? Was that just the EU arrest warrant they reversed then? -
@C7RKY Yes. You have to apply to the family court for permission to speak and the judge decides whether to allow you or not -
@PhyllisStein2 I understand that, but hadn't appreciated the court case had continued - prob because the gagging order meant I didn't know? -
@C7RKY He was made a ward of court and then he became no longer a ward of court. That is enough to be gagged. -
@PhyllisStein2 Is it? Even after the ward of court order has been removed? So what *does* it take to remove any gagging order after that? - 4 more replies

@C7RKY Aysha's still alive due his Family being strong. Quite obvious that the NHS wanted to kill the lad off.... -
@Miguelcubells Whether to kill him off, take him from his parents, jail his parents...it's anything to avoid pesky patient/parent autonomy. -
@C7RKY Yes, I quite agree.... -
@Miguelcubells Well we know all about the tricks of this particular trade, don't we Migs? Not putting up with it any more... -
@C7RKY We certainly do mate. Hamster and wheel springs to mind.... -
@Miguelcubells Pretty sure even hamsters can draw blood, when they decide to get off the wheel & nip in the right place. ;-) -
@C7RKY I like that one :)
