Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

organ donation: saves lives, no risk to donor = opt-in. Care.data: no evidence of benefit, real risks = opt-out. Anyone else think this odd?

@neilbacon Organ donation moving to opt out eg Wales. Lots of evidence data improves healthcare.

@ciarandevane you mis-read. NO evidence at all that care.data will improve care. Very different to "data" but maybe you were joking

@neilbacon Surprised you believe insight into whole patient pathway will not deliver benefit eg Netherlands, US ....

@ciarandevane and to be honest I'm shocked that someone in your position is not better standing up for individual patients. sad

@neilbacon We are. Patient organisations very clear transparency, and data sharing will improve healthcare. Sad to see clinical resistance.

@ciarandevane @neilbacon I'm with Neil on this. We pts look to people like you to act as our voice. This is as transparent as mud, frankly.

@ciarandevane No Ciaran. Honestly? It's been verging on sinister in the level of deception from the outset. Little has changed but PR level.

@ciarandevane For you to sleep on: When you redefine 'anonymised', even opt-out looks questionable. Goodnight Ciaran.pic.twitter.com/z7524fyoAb
