@C7RKY American spelling thiomerisol or something similar should come up with result too. Post marketing surveillance is more useful in >>Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@C7RKY showing up rare adverse effects as much less likely to show in clinical trials. As so widely used, even tiny risk would show up IMV. -
@Cleverestcookie That assumes adverse events are recorded & analysed fully. I'm unconvinced of that & unimpressed with trial 'science' tbh. -
@Cleverestcookie Esp since seeing this > https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/493795081825316864 … I seek raw data rather than author's conclusions these days as a result.

@Cleverestcookie And that's not something I've seen in any of those links yet tbh. Plenty of official 'statements' but no data to strutinise -
@C7RKY I've just checked SPCs of all the trivalent flu vaccines and none of them contain thiomersal so unclear what the new fuss is -
@Cleverestcookie Last was the swine flu year I believe? But think it's still in others. 1st ingredient this yr was a 'suspected carcinogen'! -
@C7RKY it's still in the specific swine flu vaccine but that's not trivalent one used routinely. Lots of things are potentially carcinogenic

@C7RKY Additionally, vaccinations are infrequent or very short course so repeat exposure does not happen at frequency that risks build up.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
