>>One of the best things to come out of the Scottish #indyref is it's finally making people sit up & question what government actually does.

@C7RKY I'd prefer to improve the government and remain whole, idealistic perhaps -
@MatSilk That's pretty much what@georgegalloway said when I asked why he supported the No vote. I don't think Westminster will give easily. -
@C7RKY@georgegalloway Oh Christ, have I accidentally agreed with George Galloway? -
@MatSilk Ha! You're showing your mainstream side there Matt.@georgegalloway says a lot of things right, even though we disagree on#indyref -
@C7RKY@georgegalloway Not keenoin the style, too bombastic; but appreciate he's said some things which do resonate. But hey, I'm apolitical -
@MatSilk@georgegalloway Taste is personal. For my part, the things George gets bombastic about, I generally find deserving of the emotion.

@C7RKY There's no credible reason why England can't/shouldn't have its own region 'Home Rule' Executive, like other counties in the UK. -
@Irish_Gaels Interesting thought. If this notion spreads, the City of London will be left alone, sticking out like a sore thumb at this rate -
@C7RKY Correct on all counts. I lived in England for 2 decades and was always struck they didn't demand greater governance at country level. -
@Irish_Gaels I think many of us got bored into submission & stopped bothering to look, tbh? Big mistake. As we're now starting to learn.
