the @NHSLA needs to do a lot more to ensure that lessons of medical negligence are learnt and not repeated
.@iggylala @NHSLA Heard a consultant of 21yrs say he'd never seen an NHSLA inspector in all that time. So how are lessons disseminated now?

@C7RKY @NHSLA I think times are changing but very slowly and no doubt many cases of negligent treatment have not yet come to light ! -
@iggylala @NHSLA Quite. Too slowly for my liking. One would like to think issues which may be life/death, might attract a sense of urgency! -
@C7RKY @NHSLA we can only hope that the climate/culture change will ensure that where necessary appropriate steps / intervention will occur -
@iggylala @NHSLA Hate to say it, but suspect that's going to require a little less 'hoping', and a little more 'forcing', before it happens. -
@C7RKY @NHSLA And more action by specialist Med Neg lawyers ! -
@iggylala @NHSLA Indeed. Shouldn't require hitting people in the pocket before they do the right thing here, but seems that's what it takes?
