@C7RKY @katemasters67 Do you tell the doctor you're recording? (I have several patients who record to play back to family)

@elinlowri@katemasters67 I personally don't hide it (have my reasons) but I'm also aware MDU has confirmed pts can do so without disclosure -
@C7RKY@katemasters67 Yes, that's why I asked. I feel uncomfortable with that though I guess I shouldn't. Can it be used in court if covert? -
@elinlowri@katemasters67 Seems so, based on Panorama story? Got to be honest, for some pts, it's our only defence against dishonest doctors -
@C7RKY@katemasters67 That's sad, but if there's anything I've learnt from Twitter it's that everyone is a product of their own experience. -
@elinlowri@katemasters67 I promise you I was quite the opposite till 3yrs ago - I used ,medical model in my training - perceived it to be > -
@elinlowri@katemasters67 the perfect ethical model. Alas, I've learned the hard way that reality is a long way short. It was life-changing. - End of conversation

@YolandaTurner14 I've yet to find an 'expert' witness who hasn't lied to me I'm afraid Yolanda. UK justice is in tatters from where I sit. -
@C7RKY@YolandaTurner14 same here I'm afraid, lying under oath but have recordings with admissions, total scum bags -
@Stephen1Jenkins@YolandaTurner14 It's a farce, isn't it? Total pantomime. Even if you provide evidence of a crime, nothing is done about it -
@C7RKY@Stephen1Jenkins Both boys preventable arrests have been staged as unexpected incidents hiding the painful days of deterioration -
@YolandaTurner14@Stephen1Jenkins Always gets described in the way that suits them best, it seems? Is there no honour in medicine any more?

@C7RKY@gracenglorydan should have nothing to his if overly and openly done and sound bites shared -
@lorraine_tinker@gracenglorydan Sorry Lorraine, I'm not sure what you mean? Should have nothing...what? -
@C7RKY@gracenglorydan nothing to hide fr pts -
@lorraine_tinker@gracenglorydan Oh I agree, thats exactly how things should be. Alas, you might be surprised by how often it isn't though. -
@C7RKY@gracenglorydan also good way for pts to reply and take in what was said in comfort of own home -
@lorraine_tinker@gracenglorydan Confirm that 100% - was pt rep for my mum in cancer appts. Amazing how much we missed. Recording invaluable
