We need to do less 'fixing' & investigating, and spend that time and energy having honest conversations with patients and family, IMO.

@C7RKY Yes, and then lack of continuity. No good having an honest convo if patient/family never sees you again, IMO. Relationships are key. -
@elinlowri Relationships can only be built with honesty. Prob is, pts rarely know what's true up front. So continuity helps trust, I agree. -
@C7RKY It is seen as somehow old-fashioned for me to want to look after my outpatients when they become inpatients, and vice versa. -
