@Cleverestcookie I think the reason this is resisted, is because it will throw the informed consent debate wide open. Lawyers avoid that one
.@Cleverestcookie Of course. But need to establish that info in a manner which can't later be changed. 'Weeding & seeding' is too common now

@C7RKY printed and signed sounds good to me. -
@Cleverestcookie As long as everyone gets a copy at the time it's signed. I've been on the receiving end of tricks around that issue though. -
@C7RKY deary me! Well if the patient has a dated, signed copy at the time then whatever hospital do with their copy is irrelevant? -
@Cleverestcookie That's absolutely true. But when hospitals are graded 'met standard' despite 85% of pt consent forms wrongfully retained? -
@C7RKY where's the governance audit? Makes me so cross as comp I work for (private) have large quality improvement dept which audits all >>> -
@Cleverestcookie The governance audit doesn't exist btw - doesn't suit them. And CQC have hancuffed themselves, to not be allowed to look. -
@C7RKY we're inspected all the time on social care side and starting on clinical too. Company knows exactly what's happening all over = good - End of conversation
