@C7RKY Indeed. No objection to patients recording, but no protection for docs and some intentions are not good. -
.
@frozenwarning What do you mean 'no protection for docs'? If they tell the truth in consultations, recording should protect them too, no? -
@C7RKY Not when edited, as happened in the case I'm thinking of. -
.
@frozenwarning That's unfortunate. But I suspect rare, compared to the numerous examples of doctors lying to, or failing to inform patients -
@frozenwarning @drjohnbye Replied on my own tweet here, v belatedly, because I've reflected on this & 'unfortunate' was a poor word choice > -
@frozenwarning @drjohnbye >Considering implications for that poor doc's career, presumably for personal gain, 'despicable' is a better word! -
@C7RKY @drjohnbye Good of you to acknowledge that. Not all pts are saints, just as not all HCPs saints. -
@frozenwarning @drjohnbye No, clearly not. I advocate honesty. Nothing more. But that's a double-edged sword. Pts must be responsible too :)
