Doctors & patients need to benefit from the right data at the right time. #caredata could do that.
.@Saif_Abed How do doctors and patients benefit exactly, when they're given no access to #caredata? I don't see how your claim can be true?

@C7RKY What claim have I made? I want us to have access to the data. I don't follow your point. -
@Saif_Abed Well, in the tweet to which I responded, you said '#caredata could do that' in respect of doctors & pts accesing data? Is it me? -
@C7RKY Couldn't it? If the data is amalgamated could it not be made accessible? -
@Saif_Abed I guess. Don't get me wrong, that strikes me as a legitimate purpose for gathering the data. Unlike the direction it's taking now -
@C7RKY And that's my interest too. I believe in transparency, accountability and the ability to use data for the improvement we need. -
@Saif_Abed Happy with that. If only those beliefs showed through in the#caredata project. Unf, NHS Eng tried to 'con' the public instead. -
@C7RKY I try to stay neutral but I stand by my belief in the central role data has to play in our NHS. We need to figure out the best way. -
@Saif_Abed I'm prepared to be objective, but this is smoke & mirrors. The best way to do this, is not to try and pull off a '3-card-trick'.
