@C7RKY so I as as 50 yr old carer who earns only £61 per week would not be worth much to treat for any disease. But a 25yr old banker would

@jackmcme I used to be a banker...but I'm all right now. Knowing what I do, I'd value your contribution far more highly than any banker! -
@C7RKY no harm meant 2anyone. Just worried that the NHS I began working in (1983) is being changed 2 b less equal for those who cannot pay -
.
@jackmcme It's not even those who cannot pay. I've paid. Handsomly throughout my life. Not expecting anything for free, just what I'm owed. -
@C7RKY if private health becomes reality, then it will depend upon your ability 2 pay. Worked in both NHS & private. -
@jackmcme Indeed. In which case, I'll be asking for refund of my NI contributions to pay for it. Can't change conditions half way though imo -
@C7RKY I've seen what happens in PH when insurance runs out. Pts get transferred 2 NHS / discharged. Not solution for chronic illness -
@jackmcme Not a solution to an equitable healthcare system full stop, I'd have thought. We have to stop this...somehow! - 2 more replies

@StarSparkle_UK Funny you should say that - I made a similar observation last night. >https://twitter.com/C7RKY/status/435546863593586688 … -
@C7RKY@StarSparkle_UK So, benefits claimants - then gypsies, homosexuals... When do we get to Jews & "degenerate" artists & intellectuals? -
@iHealthP@StarSparkle_UK This smacks of having the inevitable "..there was nobody left to speak up for me" conclusion, if we're not careful -
-
@StarSparkle_UK@iHealthP Hopefully in the next week ish. If not, it'll be too late to get our medical records back for starters. Dangerous!

@C7RKY No, it's not "a step too far". It's several steps too far - way beyond the pale. Would expect something like this out of 3rd. Reich. -
@iHealthP Contribute to the great God of Capitalism - perpetual growth, or society doesn't want you any more? We've must get a grip on this. -

@C7RKY@onmybiketoo Surprised to see the word "proposal". this has been going on for years -
@ReferenceTools
@onmybiketoo I'd agree, it's been something we've been aware of, but never has anyone dared suggest it as a policy, I think?
