"NHS England...forced to concede all the data could be passed on to private organisations such as health insurers." > http://www.express.co.uk/comment/columnists/nick-ferrari/458789/Ignore-NHS-snoops …
@MatSilk There are huge concerns about not just care.data, but those sneaking this rollout through too, I agree. So why terrible journalism?

@C7RKY Lots for <140 chrs, but it's just a rehash of general unevidenced claims, ending in misdirection at the end (re: CD data) -
@MatSilk I'd say the journo has captured the feelings of many about care.data tbh. Fact is many don't trust the data is safe, despite claims -
@C7RKY Journos like Ferrari always capture the feelings of their audience, they're very careful to. -
.
@MatSilk Does his audience include GPs who are opting-out their entire practices, because they object so strongly? > http://www.pharmatimes.com/Article/14-02-08/Data-sharing_some_GPs_are_opting-out_entire_practices.aspx?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter … -
@C7RKY All two of the ones he cited? (and the claimed others who must remain anonymous). -
@MatSilk Wouldn't matter if it was just one GP. The fact that a single one finds this scheme so objectionable, should be ringing alarm bells -
@C7RKY I agree that more needs to be done to engage with GPs and gen public. -
@MatSilk I'll say. Junk mail disclosure, to get implied consent, for access to everybody's medical records, when 85% don't know? It stinks. - 3 more replies
